Kolhapur: In A critical breakthrough, the Kolhapur police have nabbed six people of a gang involved in a quantity of circumstances of robbing gold jewelry whereas posing as polishers.
The six arrested have been recognized as Sachin Kumar Shah, Buva Raju Badai, Kundan Kumar Shah, Dhiraj Kumar Shah, Bhavesh Gupta and Aryan Gupta, said the police. The native crime department acquired a tip-off from informers of their location, after which a group of police personnel was put in place. The robbers have been caught with jewelry robbed in 5 circumstances worth Rs13.50 lakh, police said.
Shailesh Balkawade, superintendent of police (SP), said, “All arrested are industrial staff. They’re involved in robbing gold jewelry in Maharashtra and north Karnataka. The arrested deceived women by posing as jewelry polishers.”
